The Eradigm team is made up of a group of highly motivated, experienced professional consultants who come from a diverse range of backgrounds. Our vast collective experience spans all aspects of pharma, biotech and life sciences and has been gained addressing the most complex strategic challenges for the most demanding of organisations. Each of our client teams are led by a senior consultant, with a partner involved on every brief that we address.
Fergus joined Eradigm in 2017 and during his time with us has developed deep knowledge across an extensive range of projects, business functions and therapeutic categories. His expertise includes cross-portfolio and cross-functional strategy, external innovation, pricing and reimbursement, product launch excellence and commercial opportunity assessment.
He has worked in therapeutic areas ranging from oncology, hematology and vaccines to rare diseases, immunology and neuroscience and his technological expertise encompasses cell & gene therapy, new drug modalities, digital health, POC diagnostics and biologics.
Fergus’s consultancy experience has been gained in both entrepreneurial and strategic roles. Previous positions include business development roles for MedImmune/AstraZeneca, analytics roles for GSK and spells working in consultancy for both Cambridge Enterprise and Owlstone Medical. He holds a first class degree in Biology from the University of Oxford and a Masters in Bioscience Enterprise from the University of Cambridge.
Outside of work, Fergus is keen cook and baker and loves all things ‘foodie’, as well as travel, creative writing, film and music. He is also an avid reader of, and listener to, anything related to science, technology, economics and sociology.
Javier joined Eradigm in 2018 having held previous positions as a Consultant Analyst for PA Consulting’s Life Sciences Division and prior to this worked for the Material Science division of Pfizer.
Since joining Eradigm, Javier’s project experience has covered cross-portfolio strategy, launch readiness, commercialisation strategy, M&A strategy and large-scale implementation; his clinical knowledge includes women’s health, oncology, neurology, OTC healthcare and rare diseases.
As Eradigm’s social secretary, Javier leads our comprehensive social and wellbeing programme ensuring that our team is both cohesive and fighting fit! You can regularly find him whipping the team into action to get in front of our Eradigm personal trainer.
Javier holds a first class honours degree, Masters of Engineering in Chemical & Biochemical Engineering from the University of Bath.
Outside of work he is a passionate traveller and loves exploring new places and learning about new cultures. He is also a keen swimmer, enjoys the gym and health and fitness generally and loves discovering the vast array of culture that London has to offer.
As Consultant, Victoria plays a key role on a wide range of projects.
Her responsibilities include conducting market research to fully understand particular therapy or technology related areas as well as their market dynamics, including key players, strategies and positioning. Her ability to both assemble and build complex datasets and analyse and translate data to identify crucial trends and insights, helps form the strong foundations from which we develop the strategic recommendations we make to our clients.
Her project experience spans external innovation strategy, cross-market product and lifecycle management strategy, sales force automation technologies, OTC healthcare market and company valuation techniques.
Previous roles have included design engineer and sales roles for an international medical devices company and working on go-to-market strategies for a UK based medical device start-up. Victoria holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cape Town and a Masters in Bioscience Enterprise from the University of Cambridge.
She is a passionate sportswoman enjoying tennis, running and both water and snow skiing in particular, as well as travel and exploring new places.
Having completed her PhD in Genetics at Cambridge University and then spent a year as a postdoctoral researcher in Genetics, Nicole joined us in early 2019 as an Associate Consultant.
Her scientific expertise spans oncology with a focus on skin and prostate cancer, regenerative medicine and translational medicine including rare diseases and genomics. Her previous consulting experience includes international development research for a technology targeted to Africa and South Asia, market evaluation and launch feasibility for a novel analytical instrument in the UK as well as business development, competitive intelligence and investor screening for a differentiated medical device in the Middle East and North Africa region.
Nicole spends much of her spare time exploring London’s many street markets and parks, and enjoys all sports, hiking and baking.
With extensive experience in oncology, pharmacology, precision medicine and translational diagnostics, Allison’s main role at Eradgim is to conduct research relating to drug development and commercialisation, and then to analyse the findings to develop insights that help shape strategic recommendations to clients.
Allison joined us early in 2019, bringing with her extensive scientific and clinical research experience built over 5 years as a Clinical Research Scientist and PhD researcher at Imperial College London. She has also held positions as a Cancer Clinical Trials Data Manager within the NHS and as a Toxicology Project Leader with Charles River Laboratories.
Allison holds a BSc in Pharmacology and a PhD in translational cancer genetics and liquid biopsy technology. She loves the ambitious Eradigm team dynamic, the challenging nature of the work she undertakes and the uniquely collaborative approach taken to ensure that the most insightful and powerful recommendations are put forward to solve clients’ business problems.
Outside of work, Allison is a keen traveller with a camping trip to Iceland one of her most recent adventures. Her other main passion is food – in particular discovering new and unusual cuisines.
Senior Associate Consultant
Ilaria joined Eradigm in October 2019 as an associate consultant, bringing to the team her curiosity to explore the interface between science and business, and her ambition to contribute to its development. She conducts primary and secondary research relating to the current and future state of the pharmaceutical market, to draw insightful trends and build powerful stories.
She holds a first-class degree in Biotechnology at Imperial College London and a Master in Bioscience Enterprise from the University of Cambridge. Her previous experience spans from scientific investigation in several areas of neurodegeneration to business development roles and market access at AstraZeneca. She is enthusiastic to be part of the Eradigm group, where diversity and charisma blend together to form a highly professional and innovative work dynamics.
When she is not at work, you will probably find her racing in a swimming pool, cooking for friends or wandering in one of London’s many museums and art galleries.
Senior Associate Consultant
Gala joined Eradigm in January 2020 as an Associate Consultant. Her work focuses on providing insightful and actionable recommendations for our clients based on detailed research and analysis into commercial opportunities, product development strategies and complex competitive landscapes.
Gala has a strong scientific background and extensive experience in translational research across a breadth of indications, including Diabetes, Endocrinology and Neurodegenerative Disorders. She holds a PhD in Investigative Medicine from Imperial College London, where she led a 4-year research project developing novel therapeutics for Type 2 Diabetes and Obesity. She also has a BA in Natural Sciences (Neuroscience and Pharmacology) from the University of Cambridge, where she was awarded the prestigious Commonwealth Scholarship.
Gala’s deep interest in the pharmaceutical industry was inspired during her time with Amgen, through which she investigated therapeutic strategies for Alzheimer’s Disease. Following her PhD, Gala worked in the finance sector, providing strategic recommendations for public equities-focused investment clients across medical technology, biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors to inform major investment decisions.
Outside of work, Gala is a theatre aficionado, and spends her evenings rotating between Chekov, Beckett and Pinter. She is a passionate traveller, and loves exploring new cultures and cuisines.
Senior Associate Consultant
Laura joined Eradigm in February 2020 as an Associate Consultant. Her responsibilities include conducting thorough and accurate market research to generate complex databases which inform analyses and recommendations critical to advising and enlightening our clients. This market research encompasses geographic market dynamics, factors driving the healthcare value chain, competitive intelligence considerations and commercial portfolio opportunities. She is astute in her ability to understand a complex technology or therapeutic area and harness this knowledge to cultivate a robust and insightful strategy for our clients.
Laura holds a 1st class Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cape Town. Her interest in the pharmaceutical industry was sparked whilst completing her Honours thesis which centred around Influenza vaccine manufacturing. This inspired her to pursue her Masters in Bioscience Enterprise from the University of Cambridge in 2018, for which she was awarded the Standard Bank Chairman’s Scholarship.
Laura has 3 and a half years of management consulting experience, working on a variety of projects with Accenture in Johannesburg and Efficio Consulting in London and San Francisco.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys a range of hobbies including rowing, hiking, cycling and eating dumplings. She is also a passionate fantasy and sci-fi nerd, regularly reading or watching Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter or Star Wars among others.
David joined Eradigm in early 2020, bringing with him a passion for scientific innovation and drug discovery.
With deep scientific expertise in gene and cellular therapeutics, oncology, molecular genetics, and next generation sequencing technologies, David is responsible for leading global research and analysis across diverse strategic projects, utilising his ability to swiftly grapple complex ideas to derive valuable insights.
David holds a PhD from the Institute of Cancer Research where he led a 4-year research project at the intersect between the current understanding of DNA damage repair mechanisms and their clinical implications for radiotherapy. He also holds an MSci in Genetics from UCL.
Outside of work, David is a keen kayaker who enjoys the team sport of canoe polo around the world, most recently at the “Super League” competition in China.
Zara joined Eradigm in July 2020 as an Associate Consultant, bringing with her a holistic perspective on the pharmaceutical industry and the wider healthcare landscape.
With extensive experience in HIV therapies, disruptive digital technologies and infectious diseases, Zara’s work focuses on conducting comprehensive research and analysis to deliver robust and actionable recommendations for clients across a portfolio of strategic projects.
Zara holds a first-class degree in Biomedical Sciences from Imperial College London. Whilst an undergraduate, she generated systematic evidence investigating the global safety of transitioning from HIV triple drug therapies to simplified regimens, for which she was awarded a scholarship to at the International HIV Glasgow Conference. Her interest in commercialising novel pharmaceutical technologies accelerated after winning a national innovation competition with a consumer microbiome profiling concept. After completing her MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, she held a research position analysing various scenarios for optimising supply chains for efficient resource utilisation. She is enthusiastic to join Eradigm’s team of collaborative and ambitious professionals, where solving complex and diverse business challenges are driven by the team’s shared goals of providing impactful results for clients.
Outside of work Zara is a fitness and sports fan enjoying martial arts, yoga, and jungle trekking. A passionate foodie, she loves exploring new cultures through London’s colourful food scene.
Nathanael joined Eradigm in July 2020 as an associate consultant, bringing to the team his passion for deciphering the true value of innovative healthcare products, to provide strategic insights and solutions for clients, through the amalgamation of science and business. Nathanael is skilled in conducting comprehensive primary and secondary research and analysis in relation to drug development and commercialisation.
Nathanael holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Cardiff University. As an undergraduate, he conducted research at the Institute of Cancer and Genetics, evaluating the involvement of NF-kB in the progression of tuberous sclerosis, and the European Cancer Stem Cell Research Institute investigating Planar Cell Polarity involvement in prostate cancer. His interest in the pharmaceutical industry then led him to pursue a Master of Science in Drug Development Sciences from King’s College London, for which he was awarded the Dissertation Prize, and a scholarship to present his research in orphan drug pharmacoeconomics at ISPOR Europe 2019.
Nathanael has previous consulting experience at BearingPoint, as part of the Life Science Strategy & Access team, where he contributed to several projects focusing on topics ranging from oncology to AI in healthcare.
Outside work, Nathanael enjoys running, having completed numerous half and full marathons, and is a keen skier. He is also a passionate cook and lover of music, spending much of his time discovering global cuisines and cultures.
Matthias joined Eradigm in August 2020 as an Associate Consultant with an interest in life-sciences and strategy consulting. He has two years of experience working in Business Transformation at Firmenich as part of their Strategy & Alliances group. In this role, Matthias was heavily engaged in global corporate restructuring projects, touching on both operational and strategic initiatives. He equally has experience in supporting competitive intelligence projects by working to deliver deep dives on technological capabilities and product portfolios.
Previously, Matthias worked as an undergraduate researcher at the MRC Centre for Molecular Bacteriology and Infection at Imperial College London. His research focused on understanding the mechanisms of antimicrobial resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis. During this time, Matthias helped identify and characterize a novel enzyme as a candidate for a potential drug target to halt the progression of latent to active tuberculosis. Matthias also has knowledge on metabolic disorders, gained during his time at Davos-Life Science (KLK OLEO) in Singapore, where he investigated the ability of Tocotrienols on lipid metabolism.
Matthias holds a Joint honours BSc in Biological Sciences and Management from Imperial College with first-class honours in Management and is additionally pursuing a part-time MSc in Business Analytics at Imperial College. He is fluent in French and can equally speak some German.
Outside of work, Matthias is a passionate cook who enjoys roaming through London’s farmers markets in search of local ingredients. He is also a fond basketball player and is passionate about South-East Asian culture. When not in Europe, he can be found in Malaysia or Singapore bonding with his family.
Joyeeta joined Eradigm in September 2020 as an Associate Consultant, bringing with her an ambition to develop high-level Pharma strategies to create value for a variety of stakeholders.
Joyeeta holds a PhD in Paediatric Research from UCL and Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital supported by a prestigious UCL Child Health Research Studentship. Her research involved developing orphan drug strategies and digital medicine tools for mitochondrial disorders. Of note, Joyeeta developed Leigh Map, a diagnostic tool for a rare neurological condition that mimics the interface of Google Maps. Joyeeta’s scientific expertise includes rare diseases, genetics, and neurology. For her work in addressing the diagnostic and therapeutic challenges associated with rare diseases, Joyeeta has been awarded opportunities to speak at international medical conferences in Cambridge, Germany, and Brazil. Joyeeta is also published in top medical journals including The Lancet.
Prior to her PhD, Joyeeta completed a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from UCL, graduating with first-class honours. Her enthusiasm for digital medicine is evidenced by her previous work as a Science Advisor for growing nutrition start-up Nell Health, where she worked on the product development of genetics tests to help users improve their health. Joyeeta has also worked as a research impact assistant, conducting in-depth expert interviews to demonstrate the financial and social impact of various STEM academic research projects in Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, and pain relief. These experiences have informed Joyeeta’s multi-faceted approach to research and analysis.
When she’s not working, Joyeeta is an avid cook and voracious reader. She also enjoys trekking in the mountains having completed summits in the Alps, Atlas, and Rockies.
Anna joined Eradigm as an Associate Consultant in November 2020. She is deeply interested in innovation in life sciences and enjoys identifying novel opportunities and tackling challenges in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
Anna has experience in the pharmaceutical industry through working at GSK, where she managed the project portfolio of the Crick-GSK Biomedical LinkLabs group, and at Merck KGaA, where she supported strategic partnerships and an initiative to increase the company’s presence in Asia. She also has experience in consulting and IP, having worked on a marketing strategy project as part of a student consulting group and completed a short stint at Schlich Patent Attorneys.
Anna has a first class degree in Biology from the University of York and a master’s degree in Therapeutic Sciences from the University of Cambridge. Her undergraduate dissertation involved using a range of advanced computational modelling techniques to predict drug-target binding kinetics. As a master’s student she investigated the use of digital technologies to manage the spread and clinical impact of Covid-19 for her dissertation.
Anna was involved in starting a number of new initiatives and societies at university. She founded the Student Minds York society, a society dedicated to campaigning and facilitating peer support programmes. She also launched the University of York’s first Code First Girls course and was among the founding team of the Supporting Women in Science society.
In her free time, Anna enjoys running, baking and painting. In particular, she likes to paint portraits and is especially inspired by Klimt and Lucian Freud.
HR Business Partner
Diala joined the Eradigm team in early 2019 to help Patrick and Marcus develop, implement and roll out an HR strategy that provides unparalleled opportunities and benefit for employees at all levels. She provides support on a variety of HR issues, from employee relations and performance management to training, development and recruitment.
With over 14 years experience in HR, Diala is a highly experienced practitioner and has worked closely with executive management in large financial and pharmaceutical organisations, as well as with owners and managers of SME’s. She specialises in empowering and supporting managers and employees to create fruitful and efficient work relationships and in helping to generate a balanced culture in which employees can develop and thrive.
She holds an Advanced Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership and has a CMI Member Masters Degree in Human Resource Management and a CIPD Associate Member Bachelor Degree in Media.
Diala’s loves outside of work include writing poetry, teaching Arabic and exploring the world to learn more about as many different cultures and countries as possible.
HR & Finance Intern
The desire to immerse herself in both Life Science consulting and HR, ultimately lead to Kinza joining Eradigm in September 2020 as ‘HR and Finance Intern’.
Having just completed her A Levels, Kinza has secured a place at the University of Bristol in 2021 to read Sociology with Study Abroad, focusing on modules including: the principles of quantitative social science and conducting research projects using secondary data.
Her diligence and enthusiasm for all tasks assigned, have led her to become a valued member of the Eradigm team in a short space of time. She focuses on key elements within Operations and is very much involved in the growth of the organisation by supporting in areas such as Talent acquisition/recruitment and Finance.
Kinza also brings a fresh perspective to HR, supporting the department in designing and delivering staff surveys and supporting the team in organising corporate events such as the ‘Consulting Masterclass’.
Kinza spends her free time baking treats for family, friends and now colleagues and is also a keen gym goer (to burn off those extra calories)!
She is a keen knitter, and is hoping to master crocheting in the near future!
As our Finance Assistant, Kamila is responsible for the co-ordination and delivery all Eradigm’s day-to-day accounting and finance operations. Kamila joined us in November 2018 and has a wealth of financial and accounting experience, gained initially in Australia and then in the UK where she has worked in similar positions for businesses in the technology, property, leisure and healthcare sectors.
By painstakingly seeing to multiple financial and operational control systems of the business, such as capacity and expense management, Kamila makes a vital contribution to the business ensuring that Eradigm’s team of consultants can focus on what is important in serving clients without being burdened with administrative tasks. Kamila’s service minded attention to detail has been instrumental to Eradigm’s rapid growth.
Kamila holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Central Queensland University, Australia. Outside work, Kamila is an accomplished scuba diver, and has a self-confessed, masochistic passion for swimming with sharks!
Finance and Office Administrator
Elizabeth joined Eradigm in early 2020, having completed her CIPD in Payroll and bringing strong experience in Finance and Operations across industries.
Her previous roles include payroll data management for a private school in Hampstead, and working with a start-up accountancy firm providing financial support to their high-profile MNC clientele. Elizabeth’s diverse responsibilities include managing Eradigm’s core operations and implementing corporate initiatives in marketing and training.
Outside of work, Elizabeth is a self-taught seamstress and loves to use bright African prints. She is also passionate about British baking and challenges herself to recreate a different dish for her family and friends.
